张晓飞，男，生于江苏省吴县，中国工艺美术大师、中国美术家协会会会，《人民日报》神州书画院特约画师。10多年来，他在我国著名桃花坞木版年画的继承和创新上取得了优秀的成绩，创作了一大批具有地方特色的新年画，既体出时代风貌，又有传统艺术特点，作品多次在国内外展览并获奖。作品《比绣艺》《新春乐》先后在1985年全国年画评比和1989年全国风谷画评比中获优秀奖。《刺绣姑娘》在1993年日本石川县勤劳者美术展上获优秀作品奖，并被收藏。他的作品曾先后到日本、美国、比利时、卢森堡、荷兰、意大利、加拿大等国展出。1984年他还随中国苏州年画展赴日本进行文化交流。此外，他还研究苏州桃花坞木版年画的历史和艺术等，撰写不少论文，编辑出版大型画册《苏州桃花坞木刻年画》，该书在第二届全国古籍优秀图书评比中获在等奖。
