林百石,1946年生，1969年毕业于吉林艺术学院美术系。

中国美术家协会会员，吉林省美术家协会副主席，吉林省政协书画院副院长，吉林省文史研究馆馆员，吉林日报社高级编辑。

1984-2002年作品参加全国第六届，第七届，第八届，第九届美术作品展览。

2001年长春举办“林百石水墨人物画展”。

2004年海口举办“林百石水墨人物艺术展”。

2005年长春举办“林百石中国画新作展”。

1995年赴韩国汉城，釜山，丹阳等地进行艺术交流。

1992-1993年作品获韩国第五界，第六界“国际艺术大赏展”金牌奖。

1997年在“中华扇面艺术展览”中获金牌奖。

1997年作品《踏秋》在“97天池国际书画邀请展”中获金牌奖。

1985年作品在参加“全国第六届美展作品汇报展览”中获二等奖。

1996年担任“世界和平友好国际书画艺术大赛”评委。

1999年担任“全国第九届美术作品展览”吉林展区评委

2001年担任“吉林省首届中国画展览”评委。

2002年担任“吉林省首届美术作品展览”评委。

2000年作品参加“吉林省美术作品展览”获特别奖。

2001年作品参加“吉林省首届中国画展”获特别奖。

2004年作品参加“吉林省美术作品展览”获特别奖。

1988年由吉林美术出版社出版《人体动势1700》。

1995年由吉林美术出版社出版《林百石画集》。

2005年出版《当代画家林百石》。

作品为国内外美术机构及个人收藏。
