陈晓明，广东潮汕人。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国南方画院院长、一级美术师、广东省美术家协会国画家。先后在广州等地举办6次个展。作品入选广东省第一、二、三、四届中国画展，“广东省美术家协会成立50周年美术大展”，“中国首届写意画展”，“中国改革开放30周年全国美展”等国内外美术大展。岭南美术出版社，安徽美术出版社等出版有《陈晓明画集》《山川苍莽陈晓明山水画集》《陈晓明花卉作品》《当代国画名家作品研究陈晓明卷》《仲夏心印，2010年陈晓明新作欣赏》等五部作品集。作品以“山川苍莽”为特色，画风阳光大气，深受藏家关注，近年在广州嘉德和北京保利拍出高价。
作品被广东美术馆、德国法兰克福美术馆等国内外单位收藏。广东电视台、中山电视台、潮州电视台对其艺术活动曾作新闻和专题报道。
