武世珍，出生于北京市，教授，长春市美术家协会会员，吉林省书法家协会会员、长春市书法家协会会员，中国冰雪画艺术研究会长春分会——长春冰雪画会副会长。享受国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴。
武世珍先生受家庭熏陶，自幼习书，酷爱笔墨。在国画、书法、篆刻等方面先后得到多位画家的指导，数十年笔耕不断，尤其擅长冰雪画，师从冰雪画派创始人，著名国画家于志学先生。
在于志学大师的亲自指导下，探讨中国画理论，研究“冷文化”及冰雪文化艺术的发展规律，在中国画新的理论体系和表现领域中不断实践，以其冰雪画派特有的原创性艺术语言和独特的技法，表现了“冷逸之美”的冰雪美学核心思想，在古老传统中国画之外看到了中国画从传统到现代转型的新样式、新风格和新画种。
冰雪画派在技法上创造出“雪皴法、泼白法、重叠法、滴白法、排笔法、光栅法”及“画山无石、画林无树、画树无枝”的三无画法；在理论上提出“创建中国画第三审美内涵――用光”、“新传统主义”、“冷文化”和“笔墨当随心境”等新的美学思想，创造了冰雪山水画。
