马慈航(1904.5—1966.9)广东南海西樵山人。擅长中国画。自学绘画，二十年代末师承冯润芝、徐永青（徐咏青）、赵少昂、张大千。三十年代在广州开设“慈航实用美术学校”，在香港开设“马慈航画苑”。抗战胜利后任香港永发印务公司绘画部主任，并师承张大千学习敦煌唐宋技法。一九四九年返回广州，受聘为广州市文史馆馆员画师。先后在香港、澳门、广州等地举办个人画展，并参加全国及省市级重要美术展览。
其子马次航也是画家。
马慈航擅山水、人物画，尤以表现渔区风貌见长。人物则吸取唐宋工笔重彩技法。自成风貌。作品有《荷花灯舞》、《出海》、《岭南佳果送劳模》等。?
