杨鹏：1957年生于云南马關，云南西畴县人。1982年毕业于四川美术学院，1992年结业于浙江美术学院中国画系人物画专业，2009年至2010年就读于中国国家画院刘大为高研班。作品多次参加国内外重大美术展览并获奖，多次应邀访问美国、德国并举办个展、联展、学术讲座。作品分别在法、日、荷兰、香港、台湾等地美术馆展出。出版有个人画集《缤纷云南》、《中国当代美术名家系列丛书－杨鹏水墨人物作品集》等四册。作品及人名录入国家文物出版社《中国文化遗产年鉴·书画艺术卷》及《当代美术家大辞典》、《中国现代美术名家辞典》、《中国美术名家作品集》、《中国国家画院刘大为工作室精品集》等多部专业辞典及大型画册。
现为中国美术家协会会员、云南省美术家协会驻会主持工作副主席、国家一级美术师、云南大学特聘教授、硕士研究生导师、云南省文史馆书画院研究员。云南省美术书法研究院研究员。云南省文化厅艺术类高级职称评审委员。云南省第十一届政协委员。云南省政府参事。
