吴一峰（1907.6—1998.1）名立，字一峰，以字行，别名大走客，汉族，浙江平湖人。早年在上海得余天遂指导书法，得翁子勤、朱天梵传授篆刻。1923年9月考入上海美术专科学校西画系学习，后改入中国画系，1928年7月上海美专中国画系毕业。曾得刘海粟、朱天梵、陈伽庵、马企周等人相识，获益良多。1932年随黄宾虹自沪入蜀，受聘在四川艺术专科学校、东方美术专科学校任教。学书从颜真卿入手，隶书学《张迁碑》《曹全碑》，篆书学李斯、李阳冰并追溯两周金石文字，尤倾电讯于敦煌写经。喜作行草，运笔老辣劲健，气势贯畅，朴茂而多姿。篆刻则骎骎入古，游刃有余，自成面目。作品入选河南“国际书法展览”、“全国第一届书法篆刻展览”等，在国内外多家专业报刊发表，被北京故宫博物馆、伦敦大英博物馆及国内多处风景名胜区收藏及被勒石。国内诸多名人学士用印出自其手。亦擅国画。出版有《吴一峰蜀游画集》、《吴一峰国画选》等。抗战时期创作《夔门风雨》入选在英国伦敦举办的画展，并为英国博物馆收藏，刊于《中国与不列颠》一书。不少作品入选国风外重大美术作品展览，并在《美术》、《中国画》和香港《新晚报》等发表，或被美术馆、博物馆、艺术馆等收藏。1987年应邀赴新加坡讲演并举办个人画展。主要作品有《黔灵夕照》、《夔门风雨》、《大渡河放筏》、《峨眉积雪》、《窦图飞渡》、《嘉陵山色》、《巫峡风雨》、《峨嵋夜月》、《峨嵋》等。1933年参加“蓉社”。原四川省群众艺术馆美术干部，中国书法家协会会员，中国美术家协会会员，四川省诗书画院顾问，成都画院顾问，四川省文史研究馆特约馆员。

入上海澄衷中学读书，从高晓山习中国画，从余天遂习书法，从翁子勤习篆刻，开始接受全面系统的书画艺术教育；
反复临摹珂罗版《中国名画集》和摹刻《十钟山房印举》；反复阅读《徐霞客游记》，立下将来用绘画作品去探索、表现徐霞客足迹的终生宏愿。
1922年

1922年：15岁
与同班同学陆俨少因对中国书画、篆刻艺术的共同爱好而结为终生挚友；
到上海嵩山路“嵩山草堂”，向冯超然老师行拜师礼。冯超然取“立马吴山第一峰”之义，赐名“立”，字“一峰”，遂以字行，并将该年定为自己的“艺术元年”。
1923年

1923年：16岁
在“题襟馆”参加许铸成主持的“青年画会”，并结识吴昌硕、王一亭、任堇叔、俞语霜等书画界前辈。
1924年

1924年：17岁
考入上海美术专科学校。受业于刘海粟、朱天梵、郑午昌、方介堪、潘天寿、姜丹书、丰子恺、黄葆戉、陈摩；遍临刘海粟“存天阁”珍藏之历代名画原作；
课余问道黄宾虹，为其私淑弟子。
1925年

1925年：18岁
结识张善孖、张大千昆仲；
因“五卅”事件，美专停课。请假休学半年回平湖老家专力向乡儒张咏清学习古文、诗词。
1926年

1926年：19岁
在平湖学习古文、诗词；
经朱天梵推荐，在松江县泗泾镇小学任教一年。
1927年

1927年：20岁
秋，辞去教职返上海美专恢复学业，常往上海愚园路拜访郑午昌、谢公展、楼辛壶诸师，获教益良多，尤以郑午昌、朱天梵师指点最勤，点拨最精。

1928年：21岁
由江小鹣推荐，镌刻南京中山陵“仰止亭”石碑，碑文由叶恭绰书写；
六月，以春、夏、秋、冬山水四屏及《匡庐瀑布》参加“天马会第九届美术展览”；
于上海美专毕业。
1929年

1929年：22岁。
作品《蜀道图》参加“中华第一届全国美展”；
冬，参加由郑午昌、孙学泥、谢公展、商笙伯等人发起组织的“蜜蜂画会”。

7月，为于右任治印，发表于《蜜蜂画报》第十二期；
10月，步行往浙江海宁观钱塘江潮，归作《钱塘江观潮》图册；

1931年：24岁
6月，数幅作品参加“上海名人合作书画折扇”展览；
10月，徒步浙江东西天目山、富春江等名胜游览写生，搜集创作素材。行前得黄宾虹、郑午昌、朱天梵、刘海粟、黄葆戉等题辞壮游。
1932年

1932年：25岁
1月，以浙西旅游写生题材所创作的《天目山》、《莲花峰》等，参加“岁寒合作画展”；
5月，与徐悲鸿、郎静山、吴湖帆、谢稚柳、李秋君、郑曼青等人，前往西门路张大千寓所，为其34岁生日祝寿；
9月，随黄宾虹由上海入四川到成都讲学。行前海上诸师友谢玉岑、张大千、陈定山、钱瘦铁、经颐渊、、俞寄凡、马万里、贺天健等赠以墨宝壮行；
9月15日与黄宾虹在上海登“永年”号轮船，溯长江西行，于9月27日抵达重庆。数日后，由重庆乘船至宜宾，再经岷江乘船抵乐山，与黄宾虹同游峨眉山。于11月6日乘汽车到达此行的目的地成都；
四川艺术专科学校聘请黄宾虹任该校国画系主任、教授，经黄宾虹推荐任该校及东方美专教授。
1933年

1933年：26岁
立春日，成都书画界人士于市内少城公园通俗教育馆，欢迎黄宾虹、吴一峰入蜀讲学，并摄影留念；
参与创办成都书画界社团组织“蓉社”；
3月，在成都举办自己的首次个人金石书画展，售画所得全部捐济东北难民；
8月，赴川北绵阳、梓潼、三台、射洪及涪江流域写生并考察古迹；
11月，再赴川北游历写生。
1934年

1934年：27岁
在川北剑阁、广元、阆中、昭化、苍溪等一带游历写生，创作多幅反映蜀道及嘉陵江风光的作品；
12月，返浙江省亲，在汉口举办“吴一峰个人书画展览会”。在武汉结识陶北溟。
1935年

1935年：28岁
5月，在四川三台结婚。婚后迁往重庆；
秋，返成都，受聘于四川艺专，教授国画；
1936年

1936年：29岁
5月，赴乐山写生游览，在凌云山乌尤寺拜识晚清名士、著名诗人、书法家赵熙。赵熙为其《壮游图》题诗。
1937年

1937年：30岁
4月，东下省亲。在南京以写都江堰风貌的国画力作《离堆》图参加教育部主办的“全国第二届美术作品展览”；
在南京期间，与张大千、谢稚柳、方介堪等重逢。并结识黄君璧、于非闇等人；
5月，以描绘蜀中风光的80余幅画作，在杭州市内湖滨体育馆大楼举办“吴一峰蜀游画展”，潘天寿、姜丹书出席画展。
7月2日，“吴一峰蜀游画展”在上海市南京路大新公司美术厅举行。刘海粟、郑午昌、朱天梵、张大千、张善子、黄葆戉、谢公展、徐郎西等出席祝贺。郑午昌、张大千等为画作题辞，郑午昌为“画展”作序。
中国画会编辑珂罗版《吴一峰蜀游画集》发行，郑午昌、朱天梵撰序；
12月，四川省抗战动员委员会成立，聘为干事，讲授运用国画知识于抗战宣传之需要，参加抗战宣传。
1938年

1938年：31岁
2月，在报纸撰文，呼吁在抗战时期加强对艺术和文物的保护；
4月，被聘为四川省政府咨议；
11月，专程往青城山上清宫看望刚从沦陷区回来的老友张大千，并与在成都迎晤避难入蜀的画友黄君璧、叶浅予、、郎静山、谢稚柳等。
1939年

1939年：32岁
4月1日，《吴一峰画展》在成都春熙路举行，展出吴一峰所作南京、上海、杭州以及四川等地风景名胜画100余幅；
4月21日，与黄梦元、屈义林、谢趣生、牟定文发起组织“四川美术研究会”；
9月1日，以“川康绥靖公署参事”身份，奉命陪同苏联大使潘友新从成都前往峨眉山洪椿坪向国民政府主席林森递交国书。送走大使后，独游峨嵋诸胜景。
12月，于成都西郊修建斋堂“一峰草堂”。
1940年

1940年：33岁
日军逼近湖北三斗坪，满怀激愤创作的《夔门风雨》图。
在蜀中与董寿平相识，并为董氏治印。
年末，“一峰草堂”落成；
1941年

1941年：34岁
3月，在蓉迎晤关山月、赵少昂、赵望云等画友。为关山月治印；
4月，“四川美术协会”在成都祠堂街成立，任交际组组长，负责省内外画家的联络工作；
冬，在重庆南岸第二十兵工厂，与在此供职谋生的老友陆俨少相晤。
1942年

1942年：35岁
1月4日，“吴一峰四川名胜国画写生展览”在重庆夫子池新运服务所大厅举行，郭沫若、黄君璧、陆俨少等前往观赏祝贺；
2月，为郭沫若治印；郭沫若为所绘工笔重彩《剑门行旅图》题诗；
2月6日，应由各国驻渝大使馆妇女组成的“国际妇女会”之邀请，在重庆康宁路5号作了《国画之价值》的讲演。
6月，在宜宾举办画展；
9月，陆俨少由重庆来成都举办个人画展，下榻于“一峰草堂”。陆俨少为“一峰草堂”撰题楹联两幅，并为吴一峰夫人骆禧懋作水墨山水。
秋，在绵阳举办画展；
与谢无量同游窦圌山；
1943年

1943年：36岁
1940年创作的《夔门风雨》被选送英国伦敦展览，被大英博物馆收藏，并刊于《中国与不列颠》（英文版）一书中；
吴作人至蓉，常相过从，并为吴作人治印；
4月，在雅安举办个人画展；
9月，陆俨少寄赠所作《一峰草堂图》。
1944年

1944年：37岁
1月22日，“张大千临摹敦煌壁画展览”在成都提督街豫康银行举行，前往参观并祝贺画展成功；
3月25日，四川美术协会在祠堂街举行庆祝首届全国美术节纪念大会，参与策划了本次大会的筹备工作；
7月，“吴一峰纪游画展”在成都举行，陆俨少为画展作序；
秋，“吴一峰纪游画展”在重庆举行，郭沫若、黄君璧、李可染、陆俨少等对展出的作品均极推崇。
1945年

1945年：38岁
夏，在青城山整理历年画稿；
秋，吴一峰在成都祠堂街四川美协展厅举办“吴一峰四川名胜国画写生展览”，结束后往赴重庆，拟往云南追循徐霞客游踪作滇西游历。
1946年

1946年：39岁
1月，在重庆举办“吴一峰四川名胜写生画展”；
2月，抵昆明。开始其独步追寻明代徐霞客足迹的滇西游历，在当时条件下，堪称惊世绝俗之艺术壮举；
2月23日，在云南昆明举办《吴一峰四川名胜国画写生展览》；
4月5日，以《徐霞客游记》为向导，只身独步，由昆明沿滇缅公路西行，一路风餐露宿，结伴马帮，探点苍之胜，寄玉龙之奇，泛澜沧、渡怒江，历时八个月。沿途考察，写生绘图，对滇西奇异的自然风光，名胜古迹，民风民俗等获得大量珍贵资料，满载而归；
12月12日至18日，《吴一峰画展》在昆明南屏街重庆银行大楼举行。反映滇西风情的200幅国画，在这次的画展中亮相后，引起了轰动，画展办得极为成功。云南《正义报》对画展的盛况作了连续的报道及评论。
1947年

1947年：40岁
春夏，在成都“一峰草堂”整理滇游画稿及游记；
秋，为追循徐霞客游踪，再次出游。由川黔道经桐梓、松坎越娄山关往赴贵阳，与宋吟可、王渔父等画界朋友相识并交流画艺；
独往安顺、镇宁，考查溶洞，观赏黄果树瀑布，创作有《安顺粮仓洞》、《黄果树瀑布》。返归贵阳后，晨游黔灵山，沿途写生勾画，直至夕阳西下，偶得奇景，触发灵感，遂创作了自己的名作《黔灵夕照》；
冬，“吴一峰中国画展”在贵阳艺术馆隆重举行。
1948年

1948年：41岁
春、夏，在贵州黔西北各地游历写生、举办画展；
秋，“吴一峰西南纪游画展”在成都春熙路青年会隆重举行，全面展示其入蜀十五年中反映川、滇、黔名胜风景、风土人情的水墨、设色、工笔重彩、青绿没骨山水画共200余幅；
与瑞典青年学者，现为国际著名汉学家马悦然认识，并结下深厚的友谊。
1949年

1949年：42岁
春、夏，在一峰草堂整理入蜀十五年来大量写生画稿、游记；
10月10日，“吴一峰画展”在成都春熙路青年会展出，被誉为国画山水写生大师，本次展览为吴氏在建国前最后一次画展。
1950年

1950年：43岁
为生计所迫，自1950－1956年春在一家汽修厂任仓库保管员。在此期间，仍埋首创作，潜心作画，写诗治印，勤耕不辍。
1951年

1951年：44岁
在汽修厂上班，业余时间作画。
1952年

1952年：45岁
开始构思创作反映岷江全流域风光的大型手卷《岷江胜概》图。
1953年

1953年：46岁
业余时间创作反映描绘滇西风情的青绿山水《点苍胜集》；
“全国第一届国画展览”在北京举行，以《点苍胜集》和《黔灵夕照》参加展览。展毕，《黔灵夕照》被故宫博物院收藏。
1954年

1954年：47岁
历时数年，长1900厘米、高17厘米的《岷江胜概》图手卷完成。手卷从岷江之源起，沿其流域至宜宾汇入长江止，举凡山川风景、古迹名胜、风土人情、市容城建、四季变化，都细致入微地收罗于图中；
谢无量为手卷《岷江胜概》题写引首。
1955年

1955年：48岁
3月，“第二届全国美术展览会”在北京举行，《岷江胜概》手卷被推选展出，所获评价极高；
4月，按中国美协安排，受四川省文化局派遣，沿修建中的宝成铁路线体验生活，实地写生，产生了一批反映成都至秦岭山川新貌的作品；
5月，从广元乘舟沿嘉陵江顺流而下，经广元、阆中、南部、南充、合川、北碚而达重庆。这次沿嘉陵江写生旅行的最重要成果，是描绘宝成线建设及嘉陵江全流域风光的巨型手卷《嘉陵山色》图；
《黔灵夕照》由朝花美术出版社单幅印制，在全国公开发行。
1956年

1956年：49岁
4月，落实高级知识分子政策，调入四川省文化局，归队从事专业美术创作。并任群众文化工作室国画组组长；
在成都迎晤老友李可染。李可染为吴夫人绘赠《看山图》；
谢无量为《嘉陵山色》手卷题引首；
冬，应成都军区政治部邀请，前往川陕革命根据地通江、南江、巴中体验生活，搜集素材，为解放军建军30周年作画。《进军大巴山》被选参加1957年8月的“中国人民解放军建军三十周年全国美术展览”，旋又归由中国革命军事博物馆收藏。
1957年

1957年：50岁
1月，吴一峰携近作前往西安举办个人画展；
6月，老同学、老朋友朱屺瞻、钱瘦铁从上海来成都，下榻于“一峰草堂”。临别，朱屺瞻以“一峰草堂”园中蔬果为题材，作《蔬果图》赠念。钱瘦铁则为其篆刻题辞；
8月，重庆美协主办的“柯璜、吴一峰、王渔父、杨济川、钟道泉国画联合展览会”在重庆市劳动人民文化宫举行，以反映现实题材的40余幅作品参展。
1958年

1958年：51岁
4月，因建议成立“四川国画院”被划为右派分子；
被迫放下画笔，下放崇庆县大炼钢铁。与同为“右派”的流沙河在一个小组，负责砍伐木材供高炉燃料。此后，又被调到新繁县禾登场新民公社劳动改造。
1961年

1961年：54岁
被调回成都原单位四川省文化局，摘去了右派分子帽子。被派往艺术馆建设工地看守工地。
1962年

1962年：55岁
《黔灵夕照》图等数幅作品，参加了四川省举办的《建国十三周年美术优秀作品展》。展毕又到自贡、宜宾、万县等地巡回展，随展往行，旧地重游，写生作画；
12月，四川省文化局美术工作室举办“冯灌父、吴一峰、伍瘦梅、周抡园、陈子庄”五人画展。
1964年

1964年：57岁
被借调至四川省博物馆复制馆藏古画。
1966年

1966年：59岁
“文革”爆发，受冲击被抄家，珍藏字画、创作资料损失巨大。
1969年

1969年：62岁
运动中被定为“历史反革命，不戴帽子，由群众监督改造”；
10月～12月，随省博物馆疏散到四川阿坝州茂汶羌族自治县，利用劳动之余写生作画，创作出反映羌族民族风情的《羌寨金秋》等一批新作。
1970年

1970年：63岁
由省博物馆调回四川省文化局，庚即被下放至四川凉山彝族自治州米易县湾丘五七干校劳动。两年之间，体力劳动之余，仍禁不住此地青山绿水的诱惑，寻找间隙写生勾稿，创作了《五七干校全景图》、《木棉花开》、《五七干校医院》、《五七干校宿舍》等一批反映干校生活的新作品。
1972年

由干校回成都，被审查。
1973年

其“历史反革命，不戴帽子，由群众监督改造”的决定撤销。

成昆线体验生活，重游昆明。

老友赵望云在西安逝世，赋诗致奠。

出席成都市国画工作者座谈会。
1979年

1979年：72岁
3月，落实政策，恢复名誉。以喜悦之心情，绘工笔重彩大青绿绢本山水图《峨嵋祥云》。又作《总理遗爱》图在《四川日报》发表。
1980年

1980年：73岁
4月，四川电视台录制了专题节目《千里江山气势磅礴－介绍国画家吴一峰的手卷{嘉陵山色图}》；
邓小平来川视察，以昔年在广安写生时所得之画稿，精心作画，在成都金牛宾馆面赠邓小平以志敬仰。与邓小平合影留念；
10月，以73岁之年，从所在单位四川省群众艺术馆退休；
11月，被刚成立的“成都画院”聘为画师、顾问。
1981年

1981年：74岁
4月，与从广州来成都办画展的老朋友关山月两度相聚，并发表《琳琅满目，美不胜收－关山月画展观后》的文章；
国务院副总理的方毅来成都，与吴一峰在成都画院相晤，并互赠翰墨。
1982年

1982年：75岁
9月，由重庆登舟东下，开始其退休后历时半年的旅游、写生。重游长江三峡，并游览大宁河小三峡，连续游览庐山、九华山、黄山等名胜，将沿途所见胜景，写生收入画稿，先后创作了《万州江畔小景》、《黄陵庙》、《三游洞》、《石钟山》、《黄山宿雾》等作品；
11月，旧地重游了杭州众多名胜古迹，均写生为图，有《西湖春色》等多幅作品；
与老朋友陆俨少等相聚，陆俨少为《嘉陵山色》手卷题跋；
应邀前往浙江美院国画系作“山水画创作”的专题讲座；
12月，应邀赴南京，参加南京艺术学院（上海美专为其前身）70周年校庆活动。拜访老校长、时任南京艺术学院院长的刘海粟；
在南京往清凉山拜谒了钦慕已久的明遗民画家龚贤（半千）故居以及中山陵、明孝陵，游览了玄武湖、燕子矶、栖霞山、莫愁湖；往游扬州、镇江、无锡、苏州等地名胜；
12月28日，回到已阔别45年的故乡平湖，与昔年老友和同胞姐妹会晤团聚。
1983年

1983年：76岁
1月，由平湖至上海，与谢稚柳、程十发、曹养吾、胡倬云等会晤相聚。以次出游沿途写生画稿达上百幅，风景名胜游记上万字，归后所绘作品新材新景，画风嬗变，由清丽奇秀而为深厚雄浑，更时时透出“华滋”的消息；
谢稚柳为《嘉陵山色》手卷题跋；
夏秋之际，复游都江堰、青城山，又复游峨眉山，为峨嵋文管所作《峨嵋胜概》图留藏；
8月，由四川美术出版社出版的《吴一峰画选》正式发行。老朋友赵少昂题写书名。
1984年

1984年：77岁
5月，陆俨少夫妇到成都，陪同陆俨少前往都江堰写生作画，探讨艺术；
夏，六登峨嵋，且以77岁之龄徒步再登金顶；
8月，《大渡河放筏》、《偶入青山》、《东坡诗意图》，选送至马来西亚参加《四川名画家作品展览》；
10月，当选为四川省政协委员。11月受聘为新成立的四川省诗书画院画师，并与老友朱屺瞻、唐云、尹瘦石等在成都相晤。
1985年

1985年：78岁
8月，往游距成都100公里的岷江上游支流皮条河两岸的卧龙自然保护区，探幽穴，钻险洞，观奇异各状的石钟乳、石笋，于深山绝壑之中，又获新的感受；
9月，香港《新晚报》的“中国美术”第十四期上发表题为《踏破千山吴一峰》的专稿，专题介绍其绘画艺术；
10月，前往岷江上游松潘、黄龙、九寨沟及南坪县、、江油县、德阳市等写生采风。在若干写生画稿的基础上，创作出《九寨沟天鹅湖》、《九寨沟五彩池》、《长海》等面目一新的作品。
1986年

1986年：79岁
7月，应北京圆明园基金会之邀，参加了在山东济南召开的“中国圆明园首届全国著名书画家联谊座谈会”，会后游览了泰山、孔庙、青岛、崂山，最后继住北京游览了长城等名胜；
10月，以《峨岭祥云》和《大理杨升庵写韵楼》两幅作品，参加了在上海举行的《四川省诗书画院书画作品展览》。在上海与上海画院的画家们广泛交流，并与老画友、老同学朱屺瞻、吴青霞愉快会晤。
1987年

1987年：80岁
为四川省政府外宾接待室作气势磅礴的巨幅国画《峨嵋胜概》图；
6月18日，《中国四川吴一峰书画展》在新加坡总商会展厅举行，展出80幅作品，其中尤以表现四川、云南、贵州的风景名胜最受瞩目；
在新加坡期间，与潘受、王瑞璧、上海美专同学黄葆芳等相晤，并巧遇同时在此举办画展的老校长刘海粟。
1988年

1988年：81岁。
6月，四川电视台以《千山万壑笔底来》为题专题再次介绍《嘉陵山色》手卷。
1989年

1989年：82岁。
3月，以《峨嵋积雪》图获《四川中国画大展》丹青寿星奖；
4月，被聘任为中国民主同盟四川省第六届委员会委员及联络委员会委员。
1990年

1990年：83岁
1月，往日本山梨县甲府市参加《吴一峰、李焕民二大巨匠美术展》，有80幅作品参展；
5月，应邀赴香港，参加由香港书画学会主办的《四川与台湾同乡书画展览》，在港与赵少昂久别重逢。老友黄君璧专程从台湾飞抵香港相晤，香港《文汇报》对此特作报道。
1991年

1991年：84岁
8月，应邀回家乡浙江平湖市参加庆典活动。以巨幅画作和书籍、画册留赠家乡。平湖市委宣传部特主持召开了“欢迎吴一峰先生艺术座谈会”；
11月，应邀往珠海参加书画交流活动；
专往深圳看望陆俨少。此次相聚为两位相交几十年的老同学、挚友的最后见面。陆俨少以自己新近出版的画集濡笔题字相赠；
从珠海返广州，专赴广州美院看望老友关山月，随后又往访画友黎雄才。
1992年

1992年：85岁
由刘海粟题写书名，陆俨少作序的《吴一峰画集》出版。
6月5日，在广州举办“吴一峰画展”。关山月亲笔为画展题字并到场祝贺；
6月17日，《吴一峰画展》在珠海举行；
9月、11月，与四川省诗书画院摄制组人员先后前往江油窦团山、成都望江楼拍摄外景，配合完成由四川省诗书画院策划，前后历时10年之久的《吴一峰电视美术资料片》的全部摄制工作；
11月14日，《吴一峰艺术生活七十周年书画展览》在成都市中心四川美术馆开幕，各界人士近千人到场参加开幕式并观展，关山月、李琦等老友致电祝贺。

1994年：87岁
