高世迎1962年生于河北省大城子牙河畔，古千佛桥西，西留各庄村。师范毕业后，先后在剧团、群众艺术馆从事舞台美术和绘画创作工作，现在廊坊市政府工作至今。原从事漫画创作，现致力于中国画创作。中国美术家协会会员，河北省美术家协会理事，河北美协专业艺术委员会副主任，廊坊市美术家协会副主席，廊坊文联美术馆馆长。自创作以来，其作品《明天要开动员会》、《蚀》、《捕》、《主人，放了它们吧！》、《足球运动员》先后参加了第七届、第九届、第十届、第十一届全国美展及第二届中国体育美展。
