任英强，广东鹤山人，1952年11月出生，毕业于华南师范大学美术系，本科学历，曾创办广州芳村新蕾艺校，并担任校长。现为中国美术家协会会员、广东省美术家协会会员、广州美术家协会理事、中国国画院广东分院副院长。荣获广东省南粤优秀美术教师、全国特等园丁奖、广州市“十佳”美术教师等光荣称号。九次入选由中国美协主办的全国美展，其中三次获奖，有八幅作品被国家或美术馆珍藏，不少作品被港澳华侨和国内企业家收藏。作品有近百次在《美术报》、《广州日报》等报刊发表，2002年出版有《任英强画选》，2011年出版中国美术家协会主编的《任英强画册》。
