王建华（1941.9—）别名芦芽子，山西宁武人。擅长中国画。曾入山西大学艺术系进修。山西画院专职画师，创作室副主任。一级美术师。作品《火》、《公仆》、《苦菜汤》、《慈母心》等，以上作品分别入选第六届、八届全国美展，建党70周年全国美展和首届全国中国画展。现为中国美术家协会会员，山西省美协理事，国家一级美术师，山西省参事室文史馆馆员，山西省书画艺术研究会会长，山西东方书画研究院院长，太原画院专职画家。
艺术成就，自幼酷爱艺术，主攻人物画，兼长动物画，后经山大艺术系深造，毕业后一直从事专业美术至今。作品除多次入选全国历届美展外签在国外参加了《中国现代一流书画作品展》，等多种国际大展，94年在马来西亚举办了《王建华画展》。数千幅作品先后在《美术》、《中国画》、《国画家》、《美术界》、《中国书画报》等200余家报刊发表。因美术创作获各类大奖40余次获奖作品累计30余套（含100余幅）。
作品事迹被载入《中国当代艺术界名人录》、《中国当代书画家名人大典》、《世界名人录》等20余部中外大辞书。
作品先后被《中南海》、《毛主席纪念堂》、《天安门》和《海外中国美协》等世界各地所收藏，原作流传美、英、法、德、日、意、泰国、新加坡、奥地利、加拿大、乌克兰、马来西亚、澳大利亚以及港、澳、台等世界各地。
