王祖江，1947年2月出生，民族汉。山东烟台人。毕业于青岛教育学院艺术系、中央工艺美院师资班。现供职于青岛大学美术学院副教授、系中国美术家协会会员，中国服装设计师协会会员。
擅长写意花鸟画、写意人物画。
美术作品曾多次参加各级美展和高等院校系统美术作品展览并多次获奖，美术作品春色被收入《世界美术集》，传略被收入《中国名人大字典》、《中国艺术家名人录》。
曾出版《装饰艺术》等专著。
1998年秋为中华人民共和国出入境检验检疫局设计标志、徽章（全国范围征稿）被评为金奖，并被中华人民共和国国务院批准采纳了本设计方案。
