长期从事城市公共艺术与雕塑艺术研究，多件作品入选国家级省级展览并获奖，其中作品《山水》入选第十届全国美术作品展；作品《新丝路----杭州钱江新城雕塑公园概念设计》入选第十一届全国美展并获奖提名；作品《吉贤园》获2013年度全国优秀城市雕塑建设项目“年度大奖”；另外主持国家教育部重点课题、浙江省级等课题10余项，发表核心期刊论文及作品近20篇，专著与作品集4部，主持设计了多件国内外有影响力的城市公共艺术作品。
