曾龙升，字龙生，江西省丰城县人，生于l901年，卒于1964年，民国时期至建国初期的雕塑名家。曾拜游长子为师，曾氏出生于木刻之家，其父及几位兄长均从事木刻、油漆工作，因受家庭影响，他从小就爱上了立体雕刻这门艺术。14岁时由叔父带到景德镇，在制瓷作坊学习陶瓷雕塑。由于他学习勤奋，技术进步很快，早年创作的《西藏佛》、《十八罗汉》、《济公》等作品，深受人们青睐。尤其是他创作的《孙中山》瓷像，更是生动逼真，该作品曾在巴拿马国际博览会上荣获金质奖章。建国后，他的创作热情更旺，l959年他创作的《天女散花》、《汤显祖》、《文天样》、《王羲之》、《屈原》、《陶渊明》等一批瓷雕被选往北京陈列于人民大会堂，其中尤以《天女散花》塑得最佳，他匠心独运，让天女站在随花飘逸的花篮上将千万朵鲜花散往人间，构思新颖，寓意深刻，给人以许多美好而幸福的联想。他运用捏、缕、锒、塑综合技法制成的瓷质。
