于美成，男，汉族，山东汶上人，1943年出生，壁画家，美术理论家。1962年入哈尔滨师范大学艺术学院学习。1980年后在哈尔滨工业大学（原哈尔滨建筑大学）建筑学院执教。1983年于清华大学美术学院（原中央工艺美术学院）进修结业。1987年调黑龙江省美术家协会任专职创作员，国家一级美术师。系中国美术家协会会员，黑龙江省艺术设计协会副会长，全国艺术科学“九五”规划重点课题课题组负责人。
主要作品有壁画《大唐册封渤海郡王》、《鹤翔云应》、《群峰竞秀》、《欢乐歌》；论文有《壁画与壁画创作》（专著）、《广告与传媒》、《晁楣论》、《原始岩画表象符号与现代艺术视知觉图式的传承》等。组画《采油新工艺》获首届全国科学普及美术作品展览一等奖，论文《刀耕不辍，追求不止》获首届全国美术学（论文）奖。其名字被录入《中国当代艺术界名人录》（一）、《中国美术年鉴》（1949一1989年）等大型辞书中。
