袁运生美术作品

袁运生，生于江苏南通。1978年在云南博物馆举办个展，同年在中央工艺美术学院任教，同时创作北京国际机场壁画《泼水节——生命的礼赞》。1980年任教于中央美术学院壁画系。1982年应美国政府邀请访问，由哥伦比亚大学安排访问德·库宁、劳申伯、乔治·西戈等艺术家并在纽约举办演讲会，1983年应聘为波士顿塔夫茨大学访问艺术家，应邀为该校图书馆创作壁画《红+蓝+黄=白（关于两个中国神话）》，1984年应聘为哈佛大学访问艺术家，同时举办讲座和个展，1987年在纽约苏荷区画廊举办个展，1988年应邀参加汉城国际奥林匹克艺术大展，作品为韩国国家现代艺术博物馆收藏，1996年应邀参加其创作巨型壁挂"人类寓言"在哈佛大学揭幕仪式。同年回国任教于中央美术学院油画系。
