赵志光，男，1938年生，河北怀安人。中共党员。1963年毕业于天津美术学院中国画专业本科。中国美术家协会会员。山西人民出版社编审（教授），原副总编辑。还担任中国版协连环画研究会常务　理事、山西省美术家协会原副主席、现顾问、山西省花鸟画学会会长、山西省第五届文联委员、中国工艺美术学会山西分会理事、山西省出版工作者协会理事、山西省图书出版协会常务理事。
1992年被国务院授予享受政府特殊津贴的专家。
1992年由新闻出版署、中国美术家协会、中国出版工作者协会授予连环画工作荣誉奖。
作品《清香图》（漆画）1985年参加中国漆画展并荣获优秀作品奖，　《白描水仙》参加1993年迎奥运全国书画展并荣获荣誉奖。《杏花村里酒如泉》、《清香》、《汾阳核桃》、《灵泉洞》、《怪人郑板桥》、《太行烽火》、　《金扁担》、《清香图卷》、《水仙》等，20余件作品参加全国美术展览。
作品《清荫鸟语》、《玉艳冰姿》两幅作品入选190O一1997《中国工笔画》大　型画册。
《翠阴小鸟》、《玉艳冰姿》入选《中国现代花鸟画》大型画册。
画册《百花谱》《白描花卉》、《白描花卉画谱》、《画法步骤》、《白描淡彩画法》、　《灿烂的花朵》、《赵志光白描花卉》、《赵志光工笔花鸟画艺术》、《工笔水仙画法》等十余部分别由东方出版社，农村读物出版社，天津杨柳青画社，天津人民　美术出版社，河北美术出版社，河南美术出版社等出版。
