魏明，女，1984年毕业于湖北工学院，1985年入北京中央工艺美院进修漆画专业，现为一级，中国美术家协会会员，武汉市环境艺术委员会顾问。1989年被武汉市授予“优秀青年美术家”称号，1997年被授予“湖北省文化厅系统职业女标兵”称号，2002年获“湖北省美术院创作研究成果奖”。
