刘飞，1971年生于四川，四川美术学院本科毕业，厦门大学漆画方向硕士研究生毕业，师从著名漆画家陈金华教授。
现为中国美术家协会会员、高级工艺美术师、广东省高等教育学会理事、广东培正学院艺术设计系主任、内聘教授，致力于漆画教学及创作的研究。漆画作品多次参加中国美协主办的全国性展览并获奖，被美术馆、中国文学艺术基金会等艺术机构收藏。
主要漆画作品《永恒之一、之二》获“2013首届高等院校漆画大展”金奖；《零零后》获“第三届全国漆画展”优秀作品奖（最高奖）；《我要飞翔》入选“第十一届全国美术作品展”，并被厦门美术馆收藏；《少年梦》入选“第十二届全国美术作品展”并获首届广东省高校美术作品学院奖双年展教师组一等奖。
