1959年毕业于四川美术学院，现为福建省工艺美术研究院高级工艺美术师。1993年轻工部授予中国工艺美术大师荣誉称号。作品有《盐场》、《鼓浪屿》、《老子出关》(为中国美术馆收藏)、《九歌》、《兵车行》(为福建省美术馆收藏)，《九歌·山鬼》、《火烧赤壁》等作品载入《中国现代美术全集·漆画卷》。
