男(1914.9—2001.2)浙江省东阳市横店镇厦厉墅村人。 擅长擅长于设计创作，各种雕法得心应手，雕镂精细。
14岁离乡去上海，在胞兄马凤郁的作坊里学雕花。1950年进中央美院华东分院工作，历任中国美术家协会理事、美协浙江分会副主席、省民间美术研究室负责人，民间美术系副主任，从事木雕教学与创作，并竭力扶持东阳木雕的复元和振兴。1962年，他出任民间工艺研究所副所长，主管全所业务，协助浙江省的主要工艺厂开发新产品。
Ma Fengtang, male (1914.9-2001.2), Lishu Village, Hengdian Town, Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province. Good at design and creation, all kinds of sculpture handy, carving fine.
At the age of 14, he left for Shanghai and studied carving in his brother Ma Fengyu's workshop. In 1950, he worked in East China Branch of CAFA. He was successively the director of China Artists Association, the vice-chairman of Zhejiang Branch of CAFA, the director of provincial folk art research office, and the vice-chairman of the Department of Folk Art. He was engaged in the teaching and creation of woodcarving, and tried his best to support the recovery and revitalization of Dongyang woodcarving. In 1962, he served as deputy director of the Institute of Folk Arts and Crafts. He was in charge of the whole business and assisted the main craft factories in Zhejiang Province in developing new products.
