牧歌，号秋阳，中国现代绘画艺术家、图画音乐家兼美术设计家，歌词作家兼诗人及歌曲作家等。籍贯四川。原成都大学本科毕业。曾在中国人民解放军国防科委政治部文工团和国防科委政治部文化部从事美术、歌词兼诗歌及歌曲创作。1983年，他创立了以绘画为主体的、与音乐和诗歌同构的《图画之声》电化时空同步艺术，同时撰写了电化时空同步艺术美学著作《灵魂的太阳》，向艺术世界宣告了新的概念和形式——《图画之声》！牧歌的《图画之声》和他《灵魂的太阳》，使他成为中国现代艺术领域里一位绝无仅有的电化时空同步艺术家。
1989年以来，他又首创了《现代中国古文字绘画》的独特审美样式，开创了现代符号艺术《男人和女人》本体本真本能化重构的异度审美空间，独创了《现代心象彩墨绘画》的神秘情感世界！牧歌现任《图画之声》国际发展中心理事长、龙山艺术院副院长兼西南财经大学教授、美国国际名人传记研究院名誉教授及国际顾问委员等。系中国美术家协会、中国音乐家协会、中国音乐文学学会资深会员，中国音乐著作权协会会员，中华教育艺术家协会理事，美国国际名人传记研究协会终身会员及理事，世界华人艺术家协会理事等。

牧歌的《图画之声》电化时空同步艺术，在中国民主促进会中央委员会、中国音乐家协会和中国美术家协会等很多单位的组织与大力支持下，先后在北京、南京、上海、杭州、广州、天津等地举办了四十多场作品展播会，得到了国家有关部门领导、权威人士、专家学者、社会名流以及国家文化艺术界、国家新闻界的肯定和赞誉！受到了广大知识分子、青年朋友以及海外人士的青睐与热爱！中国新华社、中国新闻社、《光明日报》《中国改革报》《中国环境报》《消费时报》《北京晚报》《南京日报》《杭州日报》《广州日报》、广州《南方周末》报、天津《今晚报》《天津歌声》月刊、上海《文汇》月刊、中央文化部《艺术通讯》刊物、中国民进中央《民进》刊物、《报告文学》月刊、《中国建设》月刊北美版、中国音协《歌曲》月刊、中国美协《美术家通讯》刊物等八十多家报刊发表了一百多篇有关报道、评论、作品选登或学术性文章，上海和广东电视台作了专题播映。由此奠定了牧歌《图画之声》电化时空同步艺术的独特社会地位！一直影响至今并通向未来……

在牧歌的艺术生涯里，他和美术书法界前辈吴作人、常书鸿、魏传统、李瑞年、萧淑芳、张仃、钟灵、尹瘦石、阿老、陈叔亮、柳倩、王遐举、娄师白、张振仕、王恤珠等有过密切的联系；也和音乐界前辈李焕之、刘炽、时乐濛、羊路由、晓河、田光等有过密切的联系；还和电影戏剧界前辈谢添、李坚等有过密切的联系；有的还建立了很好的合作关系；这些前辈们的艺术思想和艺术精神，一直影响着他艺术的多元化、多体系的创造！他中学时期就崇拜的达·芬奇和毕加索的创造性思维，较早地影响着他艺术的开创性、多体系的走向！特别要提到的是大科学家钱学森！一九七九年五月下旬，国防科委专业画家牧歌，将反映科学题材的一部分美术作品，送交国防科委副主任钱学森审阅。按照约定的时间，五月二十三日下午四点半，牧歌来到钱学森副主任的办公室，就美术创作问题，两人进行了八十五分钟的谈话。钱学森副主任对美术创作的观点和想法，给牧歌的影响很大！使他找到了通向艺术远方的新途径！之后，绘画《星球恋》《宇宙的旋律》《向未来……》，歌词《卫星姑娘》《天河水》《飞》等等“异样的新面孔新神态”不断地诞生！

二十世纪七十年代中期，牧歌以“爱”与“美”为主题，汲取现代艺术流派诸家之所长，融合中国传统绘画、工艺美术和民间美术之特色，巧妙运用多画种的物质材料、表现工具及表现技法，同时操练特殊的表现技巧，重视异样的构图和对色彩的调度，努力寻找造型“因子”的新关系，积极探寻造型“素质”的新布局，这样，逐步形成了别有意味儿的《现代悟象粉彩绘画》原创作品群。与此同时，他力图用绘画来表现音乐和诗歌，并力图将音乐和诗歌转化为绘画图像，使绘画、音乐、诗歌的“美分子”，经过思想流的净化和灵魂的“化学反应”而具备新的素质和能力。经历了近十年的胚胎发育，新型的《图画之声》系列主题一号（即序号）“奏鸣曲”，在神圣的痛苦中，于1983年4月25日在北京诞生!
1983年夏月，牧歌开始了挂盘艺术的新试验。由于对动物那种生态美特别喜爱，他决定以动物为创作题材，采用一种油性彩笔，依靠一种点线运动和对夸张、变形的运用，以简练而别致的色彩构成和象形文字的映衬，突出形像的美态、神态和传神的种种因素，追求一种洋溢在挂盘画面上的音乐和诗歌的“共鸣度”，力图达到一种心理上和感情上的深度，从而形成了别样天趣的《现代动物挂盘艺术》原创作品群；构成了《图画之声》系列主题二号“自己的歌”，于
1984年9月21日在北京问世。

在北京地毯研究所的精心协作下，牧歌的第一幅大型时空同步艺术挂毯《和声》，于1987年5月在北京诞生!

1989年以来，牧歌以中国古文字为创作题材，创立了融诗、书、画为一体的《现代中国古文字绘画》原创作品群。其实，牧歌在1983年就采用中国古文字创作了现代悟象粉彩绘画《人生交响乐》，并将中国古文字融入了《现代动物挂盘艺术》的创作里，所获得的独特审美效果，为他单独创立《现代中国古文字绘画》奠定了基础。基于此，他灵活运用中国传统书画的物质表现工具，着力提升中国古文字的图像意识和生命意识，强化中国古文字的神性与灵性，凸显中国古文字的古朴之美和原生态之美，并以丰富的、传情达意的色彩语言和节奏化的空间结构相融会，造成画面潜在的运动感、东方现代感和深沉的历史感，隐现久远的美魂以新的面孔吟诗而来，给人一种心理表现力的诱惑，使作品富有灵像性、神秘性和象征性。

1991年以来，牧歌进行了现代符号艺术《男人和女人》原创作品群的创作。在爱神和美神的秘密注视下，运用变形和构成的种种手法，把原生态的个体生命同宇宙生命连在一起，以抽象而又非抽象的形体符号、神态意态符号、爱态恋态符号、情态性态符号、阴阳关系符号、等等，由此建构一个个灵美多姿的情感空间，营构一个个样态各异的情感磁场，显示爱的辉煌、美的力量！造成画面特殊的张力感、时空感和生命的律动感；飘荡着一种沉醉的神往！给人一种情绪表现力的诱惑，使作品富有构像性、传情性和精神性。

2011年冬月，牧歌开始了《现代心象彩墨绘画》原创作品群的创作。这是他绘画生涯的第五个发展阶段。经历了长期思索与积累的他，畅扬性灵美的旗帜，自由出入潜意识……动用自我的内心原创力和自我的创新技巧，以潜在的生命意识和情感意识，沟通灵心世界；在悟性和自性的参与下，灵感在心理场活跃起来，自觉接受心界的种种密码和信号，惊现诡异而有变化的幻彩谱系和幻形谱系，创化后，造成画面神奇的色彩感、灵光感和内强的气场感，显示心灵宇宙的神秘力量！给人一种意念表现力的诱惑，使作品富有心像性、异美性和超然性。
