周芜(1921.4—1990.11)别名白沙，安徽巢县人。擅长中国美术史论。1939年毕业于师范。曾在陕北公学院、延安鲁迅艺术学院、陇东抗大七分校学习，1949年后任教于安徽大学、安徽师范大学。安徽省教育学院教授。出版有《徽版画史论集》、《中国版画史图录》、《中国现代版画与民间年画》等。
