陈瑞林(1944.10—)湖南人。擅长美术史论。毕业于中央美术学院美术史系。从事中国美术史、中国现代艺术史、中国现代艺术设计史和中外艺术比较的教学与研究，历任中央工艺美术学院工艺美术史论系副主任、院图书馆副馆长，副教授、硕士生导师，《美术》杂志编委、主编助理，清华大学美术学院图书馆馆长、教授。论著、编著和译著有《中国西画五十年》(合著)、《民俗与民间美术》、《当代中国油画》、《东西方美术的交流》、《20世纪装饰艺术》、《中国现代艺术设计史》等。
