叶朗，男，1938年生。现为北京大学艺术学院名誉院长、文化产业研究院院长、国家文化产业创新与发展研究基地主任，北京大学资深教授、博士生导师，北京大学美学与美育研究中心（教育部普通高校人文社会科学重点研究基地）主任，第九届、十届全国政协常委。
曾任北京大学哲学系主任、宗教学系、艺术学系主任同时兼任国务院学位委员会哲学学科评议组成员，教育部高等学校哲学学科教学指导委员会主任委员，中华美学学会副会长兼高校美学研究会会长，北京市哲学会会长。1990年获“国家级有突出贡献专家”称号。2001年获国家级教学成果一等奖。
