尹吉男（1958——），辽宁丹东市人，朝鲜族。著名艺术史学者，当代艺术评论家，中国古代书画鉴定专家。被誉为“敏感而又冷静的艺评家”。现任中央美术学院人文学院院长，中国美术史教授，博士生导师。中央美术学院学术委员会常务委员，人文学科组主任。中央美术学院美术学研究所美术知识学研究中心主任，中国社会科学院研究生院考古学系特聘教授。故宫博物院古书画研究中心特聘研究员。教育部国家级教学团队（美术学）带头人，国家级特色专业（美术学）带头人。2009年获全国高等院校科学研究优秀成果奖。现为国家重大攻关项目——马克思主义理论工程、国家教材《中国美术史》的第一首席专家。

个人履历
1982年毕业于北京大学历史系考古专业。
1983年任丹东抗美援朝纪念馆暨丹东历史博物馆副馆长。
1984年至1987年在中央美术学院美术史系攻读中国古代书画鉴定专业的研究生，获硕士学位。
1985年、1988年两次随中国古代书画鉴定组（由谢稚柳、徐邦达、杨仁恺、启功、刘九庵、傅熹年等先生组成）去各地巡回鉴定。
1987年在中央美术学院美术史系任教。
1990年策划《新生代艺术展》，于1991年在中国历史博物馆展出。
1993年被文化部破格晋升为副教授，成为国家文物局委托培养中国书画鉴定专业硕士研究生导师。同年由生活、读书、新知三联书店出版个人文集《独自叩门——近观中国当代主流艺术》。
1996年成为《读书》杂志专栏作家、《美术星空》栏目总策划、《东方》杂志专栏主持人。
1997~1999在中央美术学院主持“中国当代美术创作与批评”研讨活动，邀请国内一百多位艺术家、批评家、艺术经纪人、艺术策划人口述近20年的个人经历。
1997~1998年担任中央电视台大型电视片《20世纪中国女性史》的总策划。
1999年晋升为教授。同年作为艺术批评家参加韩国汉城的《东北亚及第三世界艺术展》。当年又策划系列文化电视片《发现曾侯乙墓》。
2000年应邀去美国康乃尔大学、哈佛大学、纽约大学作中国当代艺术和女性史的演讲。
2001年去英国大英博物馆参加“顾恺之《女史箴图》国际学术讨论会”，发表重要论文《明代后期鉴藏家关于六朝绘画知识的生成与作用》。同年策划大型文化电视片《点击黄河》。
2002年6月在三联书店出版个人文集《后娘主义——近观中国当代文化与美术》。主要著作有《关于淮安王镇墓出土书画的初步认识》、《明代后期鉴藏家关于六朝绘画知识的生成与作用》、《董源概念的历史生成》等，在三联书店主编“开放的艺术史”大型系列学术丛书等。曾被评为北京市优秀青年骨干教师。
