Chen Qingbo, a painter of the Southern Song Dynasty, was born and died in an unknown year. Qiantang (now Hangzhou) people. During Li Zongbaoyou's reign (1253-1258), the painting academy was waiting for an edict. Gong Shanshui is good at drawing the panorama of the West Lake, with beautiful brushwork. Heritage works include "Hushan Spring Dawn Picture" small pieces, "Yao Tai Step Moon Picture" and so on.

Chen Qingbo wrote in Nanshi and Tanggu of Tianjin in his early years. He came to Tangshan in 1934 and talked in Tongqing Library of Tangshan Xiaoshan. His masterpieces Jigong Zhuan and Green Peony were very popular. Every time Chen Qingbo comes on to talk, there are always plenty of people in the library. Besides Tangshan hills, he often goes to Dongsan Coal Mine to talk.
