王谦（公元15世纪）［明）字牧之，号冰壶道人，钱塘（今浙江杭州）人，生卒年不详。善画梅，所作清奇可喜，落笔雄奇，有苍龙出峋之势，笔力挺劲儿如拗铁，千花万蕊，柔密疏简，璀璨笔端。与陈宪章齐名。曾与夏*合作《岁寒二雅图》以其中竹以青绿染就，如珠玉相映，一时称为杰作；又曾与戴进合作，由其写梅，戴进花下作人物。隆平侯张祐（字天吉）亦喜写梅，聘其为师，多得其指授。
       传世作品有《梅花图》轴，现藏故宫博物院；正统十一年（1446）作《卓冠群芳图》轴藏上海博物馆；《冰魂冷蕊图》轴、《为伯礼写梅图》轴藏天津市艺术博物馆。从艺活动约在永乐、正统间。
       《墨梅图》绢本，墨笔，纵173.3厘米，横59.6厘米。
       此图写一千老梅，干上新枝茁壮，花蕊繁密，犹如万玉缀枝，璀璨异常。梅花勾瓣点蕊，缜密枝头，冰花开放，冷艳奇丽，与粗悍的干身相映，苍劲中透出清气，表现出老梅神清骨峻的风姿。
