吕焕成 （1630-1705） 为清代初年“吴门画派”的代表人物之一，字吉文，号祉园山人，浙江余姚人。吕焕成擅长画人物、山水，兼画花卉。早年好作斧劈皴，风格奇古，与他的传世作品《春山听阮图》（现藏旅顺博物馆）、《西溪图》（上海博物馆）的画法相类似，勾皴挺拔秀劲，人物生动细劲，意境幽深，既有“北宗”画法的崇高峻美，也有“南宗”画法的秀润笔致。吕焕成的《人物故事册》曾以75万的不菲价格拍出，相信此件拍品一定不会被埋没。
