胡公寿(1823—1886)，华亭(今上海松江)人。初名远，号瘦鹤、小樵，别号横云山民，以字行，寓上海。工画山水、兰竹、花卉，萃古今诸家之妙，成一大家。江、浙名士无不倾服。书法出入于平原、北海间，独具体势。诗宗少陵，清健遵练。为海上画派代表画家之一。传世作品有《桂树图》、《香满蒲塘图》等。
