胡沁园，原名庆龙，字云涛，派名自倬，行寿三，沁园是他的别号。清光绪监生。为宋著名理学家、文学家、书法家、语文学家胡安国(1072—1137年)的后裔。
胡沁园精于诗、文、书画。诗主清新，书法王、颜，自成体系，画着力工笔，兼写意，以草虫花卉著称。1889年，他慧眼识英雄，收齐白石为徒，授之翰墨。齐虽木工出身，但悟性极高，勤奋异常，10多年后，成效卓著。其间与胡仙逋(沁园之子)、胡慎吾(名鑫，沁园堂弟)、胡廉石(沁园堂侄)等竹冲一带名士来往频繁、书画交流、艺文互补。一代国画大师起步于三雅堂。
