王承利，1991年毕业于山东工艺美术学院工业设计学院，毕业后任教于山东省戏曲学校舞台美术科，教授平面设计，后就职于山东美术出版社，先后从事责任编辑和美术编辑工作。现任山东工艺美术学院教授。作品《福禄寿喜图辑》获中国首届出版政府奖装帧设计奖、第六届全国书籍装帧艺术展览暨评奖会银奖、入选第十一届全国美展获装帧设计提名奖。《中国民间生态调查》丛书获第七届全国书籍设计艺术展览优秀奖。《诗思如泉——范曾书法集》获第七届全国书籍设计艺术展览优秀奖。《康宁画集》获山东省首届出版政府奖装帧设计一等奖。2012年12月19日，《设计·中国》网站(design.cn)对王承利先生进行了采访。
1991年毕业的王承利慢慢走上装帧设计这条道路，其中的原因有很多，对此，王承利是这样概括的：当时是在责任编辑工作之余自己喜欢对自己编辑的书进行设计，这是最主要的原因;我自己非常喜欢设计这个行业，对装帧设计十分感兴趣，兴趣是我走向设计这条路的内因和动力，正是怀着对设计的这份执著与爱好我一直做到现在。
