贺明，1982年毕业于广西艺术学院，1987年加入中国美术家协会，1990年加入中国舞台美术学会，1985年开始从事大学美术教育工作，现任广西艺术学院副教授、硕士生导师、壁画工作室主任。
作品曾多次入选由国家文化部和中国美术家协会主办的国家级大型全国美术作品展览及省级各类大型专业展览，并多次获奖。同时，作品及相关学术论文还多次在全国及省级专业性刊物上发表并有著作出版。曾赴欧州法国、意大利、梵蒂冈、德国、西班牙、瑞士以及东南亚泰国、越南等国家进行学术考察，并应邀赴德国进行专业学术访问及举办画展。
现为：中国美术家协会会员，中国舞台美术学会会员，广西美协会员，“漓江画派”常务理事。
