刘明(1957.12—)辽宁岫岩人。擅长油画，美术教育。1979年入鲁迅美术学院油画系。现任沈阳教育学院、沈阳大学师范学院美术系主任、教授。作品《夏·光之二十七》获第七届全国美展银奖，《坐福——满族新娘》获中国油画年展铜奖，《大船·早安!——公元1991年3月9日7时30分大连造船厂》获建党70周年全国美展铜奖，《94夏日海滩第二回》获第八届全国美展油画奖。主编《材料与技法丛书》共十卷。出版有《刘明油画创意》、《当代油画家自选集——刘明油画作品选》。
