郑光旭，男，1970年岁末出生于吉林省辉南县。少年时对绘画产生了极大的兴趣，并于1988年考入吉林省戏曲学校美术师范部，毕业后分配至长春市解放大路小学，担任美术教师、教研室主任。多年来在专业上勤奋努力，先后攻读长春市教育学院美术学本科，东北师范大学美术学院教育硕士研究生。
现为中国艺术研究院艺术创作院专职油画家、教授、硕士生导师，中国美术家协会会员，俄罗斯美术家协会会员，中国欧美同学会会员，中国国家艺术基金获得者，俄罗斯艺术创作协会金质奖章获得者，2005年被国家留学基金委派往俄罗斯圣彼得堡列宾美术学院攻读油画硕士，师从叶列梅耶夫教授。
俄罗斯艺术科学院荣誉院士，俄罗斯国立列宾美术学院荣誉教授，江苏师范大学特聘教授、硕士研究生导师，西北民族师范大学特聘教授。
出版有《点画砌构—向列宾美术学院叶列梅耶夫教授学油画》、《郑光旭油画写生作品集》。
