杨顺泰(1947—)浙江宁波人。擅长油画、水彩画。大专学历。历任《民主与法制》美编室主任，上海画报出版社第二编辑室主任、副编审。作品入选第七届、第八届全国美展并获第八届全国美展上海作品优秀奖。设计《宋庆龄》和《上海浦东》邮票获’96全国最佳邮票奖。
1972年，水粉画《不能让他缺课》被美国前总统尼克松购藏。1984年，油画《黄金时代》选送第六届全国美展。1988年，在上海美术馆举办“八记者画展”。1989年，连环画《最幸福的一天》入选第七届全国美展。1991年，宣传画《向您奉献爱》获‘91全国宣传画展览三等奖。1993年，解放日报、上海人民美术出版社联合举办“杨顺泰画展”，陈至立出席。1993年，创作《宋庆龄同志诞生100周年》（油画）邮票，由中华人民共和国邮电部发行，江泽民总书记为杨顺泰手绘封亲笔签名。1994年，水彩画《围》入选第八届全国美展并获第八届全国美展上海作品优秀奖。1996年8月31日，上海市慈善基金会接受杨顺泰作品捐赠。1996年，设计《上海浦东》邮票和小型张，由中华人民共和国邮电部发行并获‘96全国最佳邮票奖。1996年，宣传画获第三届全国农运会入选奖。1997年，宣传画获第八届全运会入围奖。1998年2月7日，水彩画《雨中小镇》入选日本长野“第18届冬季奥运会画展”。1999年，出访英国举办画展并进行讲学。1999年，水彩画《春》入选第九届全国美展。2000年，入集上海新华分社拍摄的《寻觅绘画的音符—画家杨顺泰》电视专题片。2000年，获第五届全国水彩画粉画展铜奖。2001年，著作《设计》由上海画报出版社出版。2001年8月，考察埃及、俄罗斯。2001年，历史油画《孙中山会晤李大钊》由上海孙中山故居纪念馆永久收藏。2002年，著作《设计的基础与应用》由上海教育出版社出版。2003年，《杨顺泰画集》出版。2004年，作品《傣家织女》入选第十届全国美展。作品《陆俨少》被陆俨少艺术院永久收藏。2004年，考察法国、意大利、英国。10余年来，作品分别被美国、英国、日本、加拿大及香港、台湾地区的收藏家购藏。
