Life
Patricia Watwood was born in Missouri, Saint Louis in 1971. Her father is Kenneth R. with Smith, Jr., who is the founder and director of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Saint Louis University hospital. Watwood won her design at the Grand Theatre BFA from Trinity University in Sanantonio, and her MFA painting from the Academy of art in New York. She studied Jacob and was one of the founding members of the water street studio in the city of Collins. Her other teachers include Ted Seth Jacob, Vincent Desiderio, Martha Mayer Erlebacher, Randy Mellick and Stephen Asa El. 
work
Watwood is a leading figure in the contemporary classical movement. her theme is characters, the most common nude, and the use of fables and myths, often with contemporary urban settings. Her composition combines classical aesthetics and modern sensibility. produced by Renaissance studio movement, her composition combines academic techniques and traditional painting techniques modern palette "with the intention of restoring the beauty of art." 
In the 2011 - 2012 Art Museum of Saint Louis University and the Forbes Gallery hosted by Watwood's solo museum exhibition, Watwood: myth and personal. and her painting exhibition of contemporary American realism, the first large-scale American realist paintings in speech Chinese,  at the Beijing World Art museum. Travel to Dalien, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Shanghai and throughout 2012 and 2013 Watwood was a vice president of the American Chinese oil painting artists League (ACOPAL), which helped organize the exhibition.
