赵晓苏画作

赵晓苏，中国美术家协会会员、中国散文学会会员，广东省文史馆馆员，南方日报高级编辑，中南画院院长。上世纪80年代毕业于洛阳师院和河南大学。
在各大媒体发表过数千幅国画和漫画作品，在报刊中开辟过20余个专栏，作品多次参加全国美术展览，数十次在国内外大赛中获奖。其中《无题》获第14届日本读卖新闻国际漫画大赛最高奖近藤日出造奖，新华社、《人民日报》、《参考消息》等国内各大媒体均做过报道，日本《读卖新闻》作了人物专访。作品获全国新闻漫画金奖和3次银奖。创作的漫画书分别获中国图书奖和中宣部五个一工程奖。近十余年来，致力于国画创作，禅画系列在国内外举办了8次专题画展。国画《佛法无边》获观音文化原创艺术大赛绘画类一等奖，《六组慧能》被台北中正纪念堂收藏，《开心图》被星云大师收藏。
绘画理论
我看佛家经典，画布袋和尚。我喜欢布袋和尚谐趣可爱的外貌，表达他的豁达和淡泊。心灵的和谐才是真正的和谐，我希望追随布袋和尚进入「大和」之境。
我所理解的佛教精神就是劝人为善，淡泊、达观，追求心灵的平衡与和谐。也就是佛家所说的「放下」。世事纷繁，世人之间的差距和矛盾显见，竞争常常异常激烈，内心的纠结成为人们难以摆脱的精神羁绊。我反覆画布袋和尚这一题材，在画面中构筑宁静、和谐、情趣的氛围，表达禅的智慧。
我以10年之功锤炼笔墨，追求的是作品的艺术价值，这不是以平方尺的画价来衡量的，而是要让作品接受时间的检验，让画面与我所表现的主题达到高度和谐。我常以看似直白而蕴含谐趣的诗句或语言表达禅意，我要让读者片刻间看懂，意会，融入我营造的氛围。
古人重诗、书、画，这其实也是我今天对国画的追求，读书、写作、练字，在凝练的笔墨中自然注入思想和情趣。别人说我的画与人不同，我高兴。哪怕走在羊肠小径上，那也是我自己的路，艺术「唯独特」才是高标准的追求。
艺术创作风格的形成一定是混合体，这里面有漫长的学习，或临摹，或写生，或尝试各种技法，或文，或思，而最终与画家的天性融合。因此，仅摄取表面是学不来的。创新是一切过往因素与画家个性的交融生发。
中国绘画由民间而宫廷，后放之四海，千年延续。沉闷过，风骚过。闷时有闷的凝练，骚时有骚的灵动，任何时期都有其优秀的代表，学是学不完的。遍览佳作，唯取与自己个性相合者，精读，细研，苦练，以期形成个人的艺术风格。
我非常赞成佛教对世界对人生的看法，也尽量以绘画表现禅的理念。唯有一点我不大相信来世，人没了就没了。这个世界本来就非常拥挤，有一拨人的生，就必然有一拨人的死。到我没的时候我会含笑离去，那时我的画还在，我希望以后的人也会喜欢我的画，让它们在世上留存得久一些，为此，我也一定要把画画好。

艺术年表
1971年拜91岁老画家张乐天先生为师，学习明清山水。
1974年拜河南著名画家丁中一教授为师，素描、速写、国画均受其影响。
1975年创作国画《鸿雁报新春》入选河南省美展。结识著名画家李伯安先生，素描和国画创作受其影响较深。
1977年考入洛阳师专艺术系，
1984年调入开封日报社任美术编辑。
1989年作品《迟了一步》获工人日报漫画大赛一等奖。
1989年水墨漫画《靠井吃井》和漫画《迟了一步》同时入选第七届全国美展。
1990年漫画《在劫难逃》获河南省新闻奖一等奖，获中国新闻奖三等奖。
1992年赵晓苏以漫画《无题》获第14届日本读卖新闻国际漫画大赛最高奖近藤日出造奖。
1993年作为有突出成就的画家入选《中国人物年鉴》，并在其后陆续收录进《美术辞林》、《中国当代漫画家辞典》、《中国当代艺术界名人录》等大型辞书。同年漫画《等》获河南省新闻奖一等奖。
1994年以人才引进调入广州，其后在《南方周末》报任美术编辑。
1996年绘制的漫画本《小平说，什么是社会主义》由广州出版社出版，此书获第11届中国图书奖。
1997年漫画《抓下线》获广东新闻奖一等奖。漫画《来也匆匆、去也匆匆》入选中国漫画大展。
1999年漫画《生死之间》获精神文明全国漫画大赛金奖。
2000年在南方日报被评为主任编辑。漫画本《可持续发展知多少》由广东人民出版社出版，获中宣部第八届“五个一”工程奖。
2002年漫画《得了十万奖金来了八万亲戚》入选子恺杯全国漫画大展并获优秀奖，获广东新闻漫画一等奖。
2005年漫画《彻查》获中国新闻漫画金奖。《中国漫画家——赵晓苏卷》由内蒙古人民出版社出版，漫画大师方成撰写序言。
2007年11月与漫画大师方成先生在中山市联合举办国画展。为《中华荣辱故事精选》一书画了80多幅水墨历史人物画。
2008年4月，为畅销全国的《锺南山谈健康》一书创作了50余幅水墨插图。
2008年8月，被广东省人民政府聘为广东省文史馆馆员，享受终身专家待遇。
2008年12月，由广东省高评委评为高级编辑（正高职称）。
2009年2月在广东岭南文博研究院展厅和唐卡大师希热布合办画展，展出赵晓苏国画作品50余件。
2009年第3期《收藏与鉴赏》以6个页面刊登赵晓苏国画作品，广东收藏家协会副主席黎展华先生撰写《秋毫一落通神妙》介绍赵晓苏国画艺术。
2010年第6期《大潮画坛》对赵晓苏国画做全面介绍。
2010年11月，赵晓苏、王韧等5人《菊情墨韵书画展》在中山市举行。
2011年1月参加在韶关举办的《名家名流精品展》。
2011年6月《赵晓苏国画》出版。
2011年7月，《收藏与鉴赏——赵晓苏卷》由吉林美术出版社出版。
2011年8月1日，赵晓苏国画个人展在揭阳市艺品馆开幕。
2011年9月，广东人民出版社出版的《禅意栖居》和《禅思解惑》两书中收录赵晓苏禅画80余幅，文字部分由海内外的高僧大德们撰写。此书被广东六组文化节选为特定礼品。
2011年11月，《禅趣——赵晓苏画展》在广州文化大观园开幕。
2012年3月，台湾海涛法师参观赵晓苏画展，赵晓苏向海涛法师敬赠画作，海涛法师回赠了一座小金刚塔。
2012年4月15日《禅在吾心——赵晓苏的水墨禅画展》在岭南文博院展厅展出。
2012年4月，《我们都是快乐佛》一书由广东人民出版社出版。
2012年5月31日，由广东省美术家协会、广东岭南文博研究院、广东省禅宗文化研究基地联合举办的“禅与幸福系列丛书之一的《我们都是快乐佛》研讨会召开，30余位省内外专家学者参加。
2012年9月，赵晓苏应邀参加新加坡华族文化艺术节，画展在新加坡芳林公园展出。
