生于甘肃礼县。中国美术家协会会员、中国工笔画学会理事、北京工笔重彩画会会员
北京当代中国书画研究会工笔画院画家

1986年毕业于西北师范大学美术系国画专业，获文学学士学位
2000年至2002年就读于中央美术学院国画系胡勃工作室研究生主要课程班，主修现代工笔重彩人物画
2004年获甘肃省“园丁奖”、甘肃省“敦煌文艺奖”
