侯长春（1930.5—）别名侯季彦，满族，北京人擅长中国画1953年毕业于北京师范大学北京东城师范学校教师、作品有工笔重彩组画54幅《水浒人物》等。
侯长春先生出生于北京，满族。幼年师从赵梦朱先生，精于工笔重彩。本集所汇作品表现了三十年代初至四十年代末老北京人的衣食住行、民俗风貌的一些侧面。画中内容有的仅存文字记述而无图象可察，有的连文字带图象都无存了。侯先生依据自己亲身经历的记忆，以多年深厚的绘画功底，将百姓蒙难民生凋零日伪沦陷时期的醇厚民风、特色商贩和四时节令风俗重现纸上，看候长春的图就象进入了老舍先生的文学作品。
幼年师从赵梦朱学习没骨花卉和工笔人物画，1947年参加“中国画学研究会”，1949年入北京师范大学美术工艺系，从卫天霖学习西画。1953年毕业后从事中学美术教育工作，50年代从事插图、连环画创作。60年代始攻习工笔重彩人物画，兼作山水、花鸟。创作多以古代诗词和历史故事为题材，作品构思新巧，刻画人物精致。代表作《水浒人物》全部为北京美术家协会收藏。其中两幅于1980年入选“北京一东京都友好展”，被评为北京市优秀文艺作品甲级奖，1984年入选第六届全国美术作品展览，获北京市建国35周年美术作品乙级奖。另有《画龙点睛》、《祝寿图》、《正气歌》、《老妪解诗》等多次在国内外展出并在报刊上发表。现为中国美术家协会会员，北京美术家协会理事，北京工笔重彩画会副会长，《水浒》研究会理事。
