坎勒(原名阚勒)，中南大学副教授，中国美术家协会会员、湖南美协理事、水彩艺委会副主任。湖南常德人，1984年湖南师范大学美术系毕业。第九届全国美展银奖，中国青年水彩画大展学术奖，湖南省美展金奖。
主要学术活动
1985年开始探索在玻璃卡纸上进行水彩画创作；
1986年作品《走出山门》参加第七届全国美术作品展（北京），并被深圳美术馆收藏；
1993年辞去工作去中央美术学院进修，作品《栅栏》入选第二届全国水彩、粉画作品大展（青岛）；
1994年作品《土陶6号》参加全国第三届水彩、粉画作品展（北京）；
1996年在中国美术馆举办“坎勒玻卡水彩艺术展”及个人作品研讨会（北京），中央电视台做题为《水彩画的现代课题》专题片介绍，《文艺报》、《光明日报》、《北京晚报》、等报刊做专题介绍，《美术》杂志社做专版介绍；
1997年参加庆香港回归“中国艺术大展”（北京、香港），作品《向日葵》获“中国青年水彩画大展”学术奖；《坎勒玻卡水彩艺术》专集出版，《江苏画刊》做专题介绍；
1998年参加"湖南省中青年美术家十杰"展（长沙）、《当代艺术》做专版介绍；
1999年作品《森林的报告》获第九届全国美术作品大展银奖、湖南美术作品大展金奖、湖南省“五个一工程”奖，《中国水彩》、《湖南画报》作专版介绍；
2004年被湖南省文联评为湖南省“德艺双馨”艺术家。
