郭海博,汉族1962年2月出生。《老人世界》杂志社美术编审。中国美术家协会会员、中国工艺美术协会会员、中国工艺美术学会雕塑专业委员会会员、中国民间文艺家协会会员、河北省民间文艺家协会副秘书长、河北工艺美术协会理事、河北工艺美术协会雕塑专业委员会常务理事、河北省燕赵文化研究会常务理事。政协河北省第九届、第十届、第十一届委员。中国民间文艺家协会第七次、第九次全国代表大会代表。河北省文学艺术界联合会第九届委员会委员。2004年10月，联合国教科文国际民间艺术组织授予“民间工艺美术大师”称号。2006年5月，河北省政府授予“河北省一级工艺美术大师”称号。2013年6月，郭氏铁板浮雕艺术被列入河北省省级非物质文化遗产名录。2014年12月，被认定批准为河北省省级非物质文化遗产项目“郭氏铁板浮雕艺术”的传承人。2014年6月，入选河北省文艺专家库专家。次年聘为第四届河北省“中青年德艺双馨文艺工作者”评委。2014年12月，被河北省工艺美术协会，评为“河北省工艺美术行业2013年度人物”。2015年10月，被河北省委宣传部评为2015年度燕赵文化之星。2015年12月，被河北省工艺美术协会评为2014、2015年度人物。2016年1月，被河北省文化厅、河北省文联推荐为文化部国家艺术基金专家库专家。2016年1月，因积极开展非遗衍生品传播推介活动，成绩突出，在首届河北省非遗衍生品设计推广评选活动中，荣获推广奖。2016年5月，荣获由河北省文学艺术界联合会评选颁发的“河北文艺贡献奖”。
近三十年来，郭海博与弟弟通过对我国传统民间艺术中的金属雕刻艺术和西方油画、雕塑艺术的潜心研究及提炼融合，逐渐摸索出一套自已的铁板浮雕锻塑技法、彩铜浮雕烧色技法。郭氏铁板浮雕艺术是以手工锤锻的方法，直接在生冷的铁板上创作出的一种雕塑艺术。其最大特色是：可利用铁板原色及铁板特质，通过抛磨、烧色等手段使作品升华至形象生动、呼之欲出的境界。其金属质感，尤其是那独有的雕塑语言所表现出的特殊肌理，别有一种其它材质无法比拟的独立之美。彩铜浮雕艺术，是在创作好的铜浮雕作品上，通过烧色工艺，能使其表面幻化出五颜六色的特殊艺术效果。其特点是：所创作出的艺术品如同窑变，色彩斑斓且不可复制。
