朱世郎，雕塑家。浙江籍，硕士学位。中国美术家协会会员，国家“城市雕塑创作设计资格证书”持有者，长沙市美术家协会副主席，湖南省女画家协会副主席，湖南省文艺人才扶持“三百工程”人才，省美协雕塑艺术委员会艺术委员，长沙市“五个一批”重点艺术人才，长沙理工大学设计艺术学院教师，从事雕塑教学。数年来坚持在繁忙的教学任务中挤出时间进行创作，构思敏捷思路广，紧紧围绕主旋律，进行各种艺术手段的探索，雕塑语言豪迈，使作品面貌纷呈。她参与为台湾创作的特大型白铜浮雕群《大飞天》得到众媒体高度评价。步入新世纪她完成的十四米高青铜雕塑《生命之树》成为城市的标志。主题雕塑《八千湘女上天山》获评为全国美展优秀作品并获湖南展区金奖和长沙市“五个一工程奖”。雕塑《水稻之父－袁隆平》入选中国美术家协会第十六次新人新作展，汶川大地震后创作了震撼人心的《大德师表－谭千秋》，入选建国60周年全国美术作品大展后，被国家收藏。
