1957年2月出生于重庆
1982年毕业于四川美术学院绘画系学士学位，留校任教至今。
现任四川美术学院教授，硕士研究生导师，中国美术家协会专家委员会版画学科委员，第三届.第四届版画艺术委会委员，2009观澜国际版画双年展评选委员会委员，第十一届、第十二届、全国美展版画评委，第十八届、第十九届、第二十届全国美术作品版画展评委，2012第二届广州国际藏书票暨小版画双年展组委会委员。
