湖南新宁人，1959年出生，湖南师大毕业。中国美术家协会会员、中国教育学会会员、中国版画家协会会员、湖南省美术家协会理事、邵阳市美协主席。现为邵阳学院艺术设计系主任，教授。

四、版画《闹洞房》入选全国首届青年版画大展，获银奖
五、版画《顶牛节》入选第十届全国版画展，赴美国、日本交流展
六、版画《山媒》入选第十一届全国版画展
在《文艺研究》、《美术观察》等刊物发表论文27篇，出版专著两部。
