谷文明，1964年9月出生于黑龙江，祖籍山东。现中国美术协会会员，黑龙江省版画院特聘画家。1981年至1983年就学于哈尔滨师范大学美术系，1990至1991年在中央美术学院版画系进修，现为职业画家。
1992年版画作品《绿色笛子》获全国第十一届版画展银奖，并编入《中国现代美术全集·版画卷》。1993年版画《绿色太阳》获中国版画版种大展及全国第五届三版展铜奖，1994年版画《绿色风筝》入选第八届全国美术作品展览，2003年油画作品《天池》入选首届中国北京国际美术双年展，并辑入《首届中国北京国际美术双年展作品集》和《美术》2003年第十期。2005应德国汉堡文化部邀请，在汉堡举行个人油画、雕塑作品展。

Gu Wenming, born in September 1964 in Heilongjiang Province, is a native of Shandong Province. Now he is a member of China Art Association and a special painter of Heilongjiang engraving Academy. From 1981 to 1983, he studied in the Department of fine arts of Harbin Normal University. From 1990 to 1991, he studied in the printmaking department of the Central Academy of fine arts. Now he is a professional painter.

In 1992, the print work "green Flute" won the silver medal of the 11th National Print Exhibition, and was included in the "complete works of modern Chinese art · print volume". In 1993, the print green sun won the bronze medal of China print edition exhibition and the Fifth National Third Edition exhibition. In 1994, the print green kite was selected into the Eighth National Art Works Exhibition. In 2003, the oil painting Tianchi was selected into the first China Beijing International Art Biennale. It was also included in the works collection of the first China Beijing International Art Biennale and the tenth issue of art in 2003. In 2005, at the invitation of the Ministry of culture of Hamburg, Germany, an exhibition of individual oil paintings and sculptures was held in Hamburg.
