范有信（1943.5～1998.3）甘肃兰州人。擅长中国画。甘肃画驼第一人。被诗人伊丹才让赞誉为“范骆驼”，此后“范骆驼”在美术界广为流传。1966年毕业于西北师范大学美术系。曾在兰州市博物馆工作，兰州教育学院美术系主任、教授。享受政府特殊津贴。
作品有《无私自奉苦行舟》、《墨菊》、《春意盎然》等。其画作题材多以骆驼为主，笔墨成就也以骆驼为最，独得“范骆驼”之美誉，成为甘肃画坛的领军人物。作品入选国内外美展。作品为中国美术馆等收藏。擅山水、花鸟，所作质朴自然，格调清新。近年喜画骆驼，笔墨交融，意态生动。作品曾多次入选全国及省、市美术作品展览并被选送日本、香港等地展出，并在《美术》杂志、《人民日报》、《中国老年》等报刊发表。有的作品入选在北京举办的“豪情颂”书画展、在长春举办的“北国风光”书画邀请展、在新疆举办的“振兴丝绸之路”国际书画展等，并为博物馆、艺术馆收藏或被单幅出版。应邀在日本、新加坡举办个人书画展。主要作品有《秋艳》、《孔雀牡丹》、《大漠深情》、《茫茫戈壁夜》、《瀚海之舟》、《百驼图》(长卷)《山花》等。其中《百驼图》曾先后在兰州、济南、太原等地展出。1987年11月在北京举办“百驼画展”。生前为兰州教育学院美术系主任、教授，日本茨城大学客座教授，甘肃省文史馆研究员，中国美术家协会会员，兰州市美术家协会副主席，为国务院特殊津贴享受者，甘肃省优秀专家。曾获国家教育部“曾宪梓教育基金奖”。自1978年起，担任兰州市第六、七、八、九、十届政协委员和常委。1990年为兰州市首批专业技术拔尖人才，是甘肃省“园丁奖”获得者，曾获国家教育部“曾宪梓教育基金奖”。范有信先生是当代甘肃画坛的重要代表人物，他生于甘肃，长于甘肃，成就于甘肃。二十世纪八十至九十年代，有信先生活跃于中国画坛，以精深的艺术造诣和独特的个性风格，留下了许多精品佳作，并先后在国内外多次举办画展。传略辑入《中国现代美术家人名辞典》、《中国当代美术家人名录》、《中国当代国画家辞典》、《中国当代艺术界名人录》等。作品为中国美术馆等收藏。

2008年3月23日，著名画家、美术教育家范有信先生辞世10周年之际，兰州市博物馆举行“笔墨有信——范有信先生作品纪念展暨画册首发式”，省委书记、省人大常委会主任陆浩为《笔墨有信—范有信画集》作了序。当天的《兰州晨报》全文刊登了题为“昆仑风骨黄土情怀”的序文，也刊发了我省著名诗人、作家吴辰旭先生所作的《江城子·十年祭》一文，情真意切，感人至深。
作为20世纪甘肃画坛在国内外有影响力的画家，范有信先生在短暂的艺术生涯里实现了自己的生命价值。自1962年考入西北师范学院，师从张阶平、于衍堂、韩天眷、汪岳云等名教授学习，一直孜孜以求，醉心于花鸟笔墨。艺术追求和独特的艺术感悟，使他寄托于号称“沙漠之舟”的骆驼，他潜心锻造，长期的花鸟状写，成就了他的笔端功夫。而大量的田野写生，又造就了他对骆驼的了然于心。他的洋溢着生命激情而有章法有度的《百驼图》、《千峰图》、《背负沧桑大漠行》等传世名作。
