杨建华，1946年生，甘肃陇西人，书香世家。曾任陇西书画院院长、陇西美协主席，现就职于广东韶关学院，任韶关书画院副院长。国家一级美术师，中国美术家协会会员。从事中国画教学、创作和研究工作。作品参加“长城颂”国际美术大展，全国诗书画大展，群星美展，第八、第九届全国美展。获国际创新奖；全国成就奖、优秀奖；省级一、二、三等奖，优秀奖；地区一等奖。《丝绸之路文化》获甘肃省委、省政府颁发的最高奖——“敦煌文艺奖”。发表美术作品500多件，论文l2篇(其中获国家级一等奖两篇)。出版有《杨建华中国画选》、专著《中国画论与创作》。
