覃立强,男，1937年10月出生，广西东兰县人。别名覃鸿雁，壮族。中共党员。副研究馆员。1964年毕业于北京中央民族大学美术系中国画专业。历任广西昆山县文化馆美术干部、副馆长、馆长、凤山县文化局副局长、广西河池地区群众艺术馆副馆长。现任中国美术家协会会员、中国少数民族美术促进会会员。广西美术家协会理事，石涛艺术学会理事，广西画院院士。
作品《高山明镜》、《雄关盛开英雄花》、《一心奉献》及与画友合作的大型线刻壁画《浩气磅礴》分别参加第七、八届及全国性大型美术展览；《雄关盛开英雄花》入选全国少数民族美展；《秋到壮乡》入选赴意大利展览；《雄关盛开英雄花》展销美国；《边关风采》被选入《1993年名人书画怀历》；《油茶之乡》由广西人民出版社作单幅画出版；与画友合作搜集编绘《土家族彩织图案集》由湖北人民出版社出版。有不少作品为《美术界》等刊物发表；《仫佬山乡》（荣获国际文化交流荣誉奖）、《漓水烟云》被著名收藏家收藏。《三姐故乡》参展后被收入专集出版。《穿洞秋色》参加全国美术作品大展后，被中国文学艺术界联合会书画艺术中心收藏。《仫佬山乡》被编入《20世纪国际现代美术精品荟萃》大型画册，并荣获“世界铜奖艺术家称号”。《山泉》被编入《广西中国画精品专集》、《瑶山春》、《江山积翠》及简介被上海三联书店编入《当代中国美术家》CD—ROM光盘。其艺术传略被编入《国际现代书画篆刻家大辞典》、《中国当代书画家名人大辞典》、《中国现代美术家人名大辞典》、《世界华人文学艺术界名人录》、《中国专家大辞典》、科学中国人丛书《中国专家人才库》等。
