田世光美术作品

田世光（1916－1999），号公炜。北京人。现代著名花鸟画家。早年拜张大千门下，为大风堂弟子之一。1933年入京华美术学院国画系，受教於齐白石等。1937年毕业后，继入北平古物陈列所国画研究馆，历任研究员、助教、讲师，并兼课於京华美院、北平艺术专科学校。在该馆研究8年，主攻宋元画派工笔重彩花鸟画及宋元山水画，奠定了工笔重彩花鸟画的坚实基础。青年时代即在北平画坛享有盛名。抗战胜利后，被聘为北平艺专讲师。1949年后，历任中央美术学院讲师，中央工艺美术学院讲师、副教授，中央美院副教授、教授，北京画院院外画师，中国画研究院院委委员。新国画研究会创办人之一。曾任北京中国画会理事、北京工笔重彩画会副会长、北京花鸟画会副会长、北京大学艺术研究室顾问、中国老年书画研究会顾问等职。一生致力於中国花鸟画的继承、发展与创新，造诣深厚。他使失传了300年的宋元画派工笔重彩花鸟画画派得到新的发展、突破，并在艺术创作中发扬光大。他以饱满的热情不断深入生活，体验自然。通过写生积累了丰富的素材，创作了大量充满蓬勃生机、富有不朽生命力的花鸟画，深受人们的喜爱，为复兴传统工笔重彩花鸟画做出了巨大贡献。兼及山水。有《田世光花鸟画集》、《田世光画集》等行世。
