李海生，汉族，祖籍山东济宁，现定居北京，中国美术家协会会员，一级美术师，专职画家。2005年被文化部授予“优秀人民艺术家”称号。
师承中国著名画家王文芳先生，并得到王明明、杨延文、石齐等名家的指点亲授。作品多次参加中国美协、文联、文化部等单位主办的大展并多次获奖：铜奖一次、优秀奖两次、银奖一次、入选多次。
作品被收录十几部画册及典籍，部分作品被国家领导人及国内外友好人士所收藏。
《中国书画报》当代画家栏目、《中国信息报》、《西部发展报》、等十几家报刊做过专题报道介绍，中央电视台、北京电视台等十几家地方电视台做过报道。
